Die Ausstellung TWIST zeigt die drei Werkkomplexe Captured Motion, Pattern in Motion und Nest Building, deren verbindendes Thema textile Praktiken sind. Neben Maschinen, die weben, flechten und stricken, werden auch Webervögel beim Nestbau gezeigt.
Die Arbeiten sind Teil des Langzeitprojekts einer Enzyklopädie der Handhabungen. Die einzelnen Module untersuchen das implizite Wissen, das in Handgriffen und Maschinen verkörpert ist. Für die multifokalen Beobachtungen nutzt Anette Rose verschiedene Aufnahmemethoden: Video-Sync, Sound, Zeitlupe, Motion-Capturing, Diagramme, Fotografie. Ein besonderes Merkmal der Video-Installationen ist die Re-Synchronisation von Sequenzen, die mit mehreren Kameras gleichzeitig gefilmt wurden.

The exhibition TWIST shows the three work complexes Captured Motion, Pattern in Motion und Nest Building, whose unifying theme is textile practices. In addition to machines that weave, braid and knit, the exhibition also shows weaver birds building nests.
The works are part of the long-term project of an Enzyklopädie der Handhabungen. The individual modules examine the implicit knowledge embodied in hand movements and machines. Anette Rose uses various recording methods for the multifocal observations: video sync, sound, slow motion, motion capturing, diagrams and photography. A special feature of the video installations is the re-synchronization of sequences filmed with several cameras simultaneously.
